Bear Mountain, N.Y......there was only one woman among the men who prepped for the Olympic tryouts in the second annual Torger Tokle memorial ski jump tournament at Bear Mountain, N.Y. she was Dorothy Graves, pictured during a fine takeoff. the leap was 123 feet which placed her ninth in the high flying event. during the war Dorothy (who is quite attractive as you can see at the right) drove a ten ton truck as a girl marine.
