Monster Hurricane Dora Bearing Down on Florida--Hurricane Dora, a monster packing 125-mile-an-hour winds, is bearing down on central Florida threatening to slam ashore late tonight and tomorrow. She is less than 300 miles at sea and is preceded by high winds 150 miles in advance. Officials at Cape Canaveral are rushing dismantling of missiles nearly ready for launching on their pads.
