Dodger Maury Wills steals second in the 5th inning here and took third as Cincinnati Reds second baseman Pete Rose was unable to get catcher John Edwards throw, the ball going over his glove and out to center field. Willis, who had walked originally, scored on Jim Gilliam's infield grounder. The LA Dodgers ran over the Reds 6-1 here 9/27 to hold onto their first place tie with San Francisco.
