One Out, Two In -- Cpl Jim Lemon (center), Cleveland Indians outfielder who was on his way out of the Army here today, swaps gags with two young Pittsburgh Pirates who were just going through their induction processing. They are Pvt. Ronald A. Necciai (left) of Monongahela, Pa., and Pvt. Anthony J. Bartirome (right) of Pittsburgh. Necciai is the pitcher who gained game last season by striking out 27 batters in one game for Bristol in the Class D Appalachian League. Bartirome was Pirate first baseman last year.
