One Fire Put Out, Other Burns--Walter Skinner, whose clothes caught fire while he was watching burning draft records near the Los Angeles induction station today, is rolled on the pavement by a companion, Charles Friend, and a man (nearest camera) who had been picketing the Los Angeles Herald-Examiner across the street. Their fast work put the fire out so quickly that Skinner was not burned. Meanwhile the draft records were consumed by flames, resulting in the postponement of the induction of 231 men.
