Mrs. Evelyn Joyce Schenk, "Mrs. America of 1953" has just completed the honors (left). At right is kenneth snyder, who has good reason to be proud of his lovely wife, and three-year-old steve, sharing the throne with his royal mother. Mrs. snyder beat out 32 other beauties from the u.s., hawaii, and canada, to win the coveted crown. Her victory was the second within the last 24 hours for a pennsylvania beauty, evelyn margaret ay having been crowned "miss america" last night at atlantic city.
