New York--Mrs. Kay Grundy, 18-year-old "Miss New York," smiles at her husband, Douglas Grundy, 35, right, at felony court today where hearing was held on charge that he beat her up at party last night. At left is attorney Benjamin Schmier, legal-aid lawyer representing Grundy. Mrs. Grundy will vie for "Miss United States" title leading up to "Miss Universe" beauty contest, in which married women are eligible. Grundy was paroled for trial later on third-degree assault charge.
