On way to court to hear murder charges

The warden of Lake County Jail shields the face of Mrs. Opal Collins en route to the court room to hear Judge Murray read a grand jury indictment charging her with four counts of murder in the first degree. Mrs. Collins is accused of shooting her paraplegic war veteran husband, Ben; his mother, Julia, 48, and his two sisters, Mary Sue and Martha Ann. The tragedy occurred in the Collins home last Saturday night.
