Talk was all that Red Ruffing (center) Yankee pitcher got. Roger Cramer (left) of the Boston Red Sox played left field for a while but didn't get a hit or a putout and Jimmy Foxx, another Red Sox, played at first and at third, garnering a single and five putouts. The final score was 4-1.
