A Modern City steadily is becoming a reality here. This new view of the Central Artery, taken from atop the Northern Station office building, shows the facility serving the heart of a growing municipality. The off ramp at the right serves the rejuvenated market area, and that next to it the traffic bound along the artery from North Station. The main section of the elevated highway is shown snaking its way toward the Custom House and the South Station area.
