Norman Cannon denies from the witness stand 11/11 that he raped a 15-year-old negro girl. Cannon was convicted to become the first white man found guilty in modern Mississippi history for attacking a Negro. Circuit Judge Stanton Hall (L) sentenced him to life in prison, but an appeal was planned.
