Mississippi River Flood Area-The Mississippi river flood crest in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area tonight. Stillwater, Minn., will get St. Croix river crest Sunday. A dike broke at Hudson, Wis., flooding half the town. Wabasha, Minn., was one-third under water. At Winona, a 25-foot high sandbag wall nine miles long has been built. Families in LaCrosse and Prairie du Chien, Wis., are being evacuated. Davenport, Ia., and Rock Island, Ill., expect a 20.5-foot crest Monday. Guardsmen patrol levees in the Burlington, Iowa, and Quincy, Ill., sections. Flood stage extends to Hannibal, Mo.
