No School Buses Today. A solid line of pickets blocks at attempt today (Jan. 5) in Brockton, Mass., of supervisors of the Eastern Massachusetts Street Railway to operate school buses on their regular routes. Drivers and mechanics of the bus line have been on strike since Nov. 17 seeking increased pay. The bus line operates regular passenger routes in 80 communities as well as school routes.
