Missing beauty feared foul play victim

Hollywood, Cal......Finding of her ripped handbag, looted of cash, in Los Angeles' Griffith Park lent an ominous note to the search for glamorous Jean Elizabeth Spangler (above) today. Missing since Friday, Miss Spangler, 27-year-old film and television actress, left her Hollywood apartment on Friday evening to go to work. She never returned. The actress is the former wife of Dexter Benner, a plastics manufacturer. Her attorney, S.S. Hahn, said he is sure she has met with violence, pointing out that the terms of her divorce settlement requires her to report to him whenever her work took her away from her child, five-year-old Christine.
