Santina, left, and Giuseppina Foglia, born as Siamese twins, play with a dog in the courtyard of Gardone, Italy, boarding school where they live. the seven-year-old girls, born joined at the spine, were separated in a five-hour operation in a Turin, Italy, clinic, May 10, 1965. Since then they have learned to walk separately, even ride bicycles.
