Seattle, Wash.--Lorraine Lowder, Miss Washington of 1948, enjoys a few minutes of relaxation before beginning strenuous round of training and festivities planned for her here. The 21-year-old beauty from Aberdeen, Wash., arrived in Seattle for a week's training before starting her tour of the state. Winning beauty contests is not new to Lorraine. She started when she was three by winning the title "Miss Corregidor." She is the daughter of a retired army colonel and has spent her life in all parts of the world.
