Miss Universe beauties welcomed

Charlotte Sheffield, who won the Miss U.S.A. title last year, plants a welcoming kiss on the cheek of Alicja Bobrowska of Poland, the first contestant to come to the Miss Universe pageant from behind the Iron Curtain. Virtually all of the 80 beauties from America and abroad were on hand with the arrival today of 50 girls on a chartered plane.
