No Cake, Thank You--Willie Jo McCullers was too sick for her third birthday cake as she lay in an iron lung in the polio ward of City-County Hospital in Fort Worth. Earlier in the day a seven-year-old girl had died in an adjoining iron lung. On July 29, her four-year-old cousin, whose mother baked the cake today, died in an adjoining lung.
