Atlantic City, N.J. Above is pictured Miss Ruth Malcolmson, who as representative of the city of Philadelphia, was chosen "Miss America" on 1924 at the conclusion of the annual beauty pageant here. Miss Malcolmson thus wins the golden mermaid which for the past two years was the property of Mary Katherine Campbell of Columbus, Ohio, twice winner of the title of "Miss America". The Philadelphia girl is 18 years old; she is five feet five inches tall and weighs 132 pounds, has long golden curls and violet eyes.
