Yankee Boss Takes Charge For a Day With nothing to worry him but Joe Di Maggio's salary demands, now that Lou Gehrig is in camp, Col. Jake Ruppert, the Yankee's big boss and paymaster, gives in to that spring baseball fever, smiling as he watches his charges work out at St. Petersburg, Fla. At the top, he seems to be enjoying the sensation of seeing a high one soar out. Below at the left he shouts for the boys to get in there and pitch.
