Newlyweds Charles and Lida Caldwell were reunited today when the 19-year-old bride was released from a hospital where she was been recovering from a gunshot wound in the chest inflicted by a former suitor. The ex-boyfriend shot Caldwell in the face shortly after the young couple was married two weeks ago and then abducted the bride. He held her captive in his apartment for 44 hours and then shot her and killed himself. Caldwell was released from another hospital a few days ago.
