Newcomer Breaks In Nicely and Charley Sheppard, the new professional at Brae Burn, showed his employers that he will be a figure in golf in this section. Sheppard won the play-off for the final place among the New England qualifiers for the P.G.A. tournament. Charley Sheppard of Brae Burn, who scored his 10th hole-in-one yesterday at Woodland Golf Club. He holed out a six iron on the 148-yard fifth hole.
