Like other cities throughout the nation, New York has planned a fine network of Highways, but, as a whole, little progress has been made due chiefly to high prices and scarcity of materials. This is the proposed design for a section of the Cross-Bronx Expressway in New York City, showing underpass at Hugh J. Grant Circle. An elevated railway crosses the circle.
