New York - Snowbound On The Parkway - Stalled autos and deep drifts halt all traffic on the Grand Central Parkway in borough of Queens on Long Island here today. Many drivers abandoned their autos stalling all traffic and blocking the efforts of highway workers to clear snow from the roadway. The storm was the worst in many years and automobile traffic was paralyzed.
