New York -- Not a Pigeon in Sight -- Late shopper scurries across Bryant Park in mid-Manhattan during season’s first snowfall which brought nearly two inches to this area just off Times Square. View is made looking east from the Avenue of the Americas toward the rear of the main building of the New York Public Library. Traffic was slowed as city streets became slippery. Park is habitat in good weather of numerous pigeons who are fed by office workers who take their lunch in the park.
