A New Gemstone From Tiffany’s--A tanzanite ring with band of gold and diamonds prices at $4,600, top, and a tanzanite set diamond turtle with movable head and tail priced at $5,700, are among the new collection of jewelry featured at world famous Tiffany’s --the New York jewel center. Discovered by a Masai tribesman, the stone called tanzanite is the first transparent deep blue gemstone to be discovered in more than 2,000 years, according to Tiffany’s.
