New Equipment Expands L. H. Cook Facilities Lawrence H. Cook, Inc. of East Providence, Rhode Island has recently completed an expansion program. The final touch was the addition of a new imported Hauser 3 S M Jig Grinder for cylindrical and taper grinding of holes and contours in hardened steel or even tungsten carbide. The Cook firm is the only shop in the New England area to have this revolutionary piece of production equipment. It is the second Hauser Jig Grinder in this country. A group of Cook machinists have recently completed an intensified training program under the direction of a Swiss factory expert and the Cook employees are well equipped with the finer points of operation and maintenance of this Hauser 3 S M Jig Grinder. This advanced equipment is only one phase of the L. H. Cook plant and personnel modernization plan.
