Mrs.Margaret Young -- who is 102 years young -- holds up her Social Security card she received today in Detroit. She immediately applied for Medicare. Because Mrs. Young's late husband was a dentist who died in 1947, he and his widow never were registered under the Social Security program. A Social Security card is a necessity under the Medicare program. Officials said Mrs. Young is "undoubtedly one of the oldest persons in the area to register under the Federal health insurance program."
