Near Empty South Shore Reservoir--This is Great Pond in Randolph part of the water supply for the towns of Randolph, Braintree and Holbrook, nearly dry as New England is suffering one of the worst droughts in recent history. Officials of the three towns are scheduled to meet Wednesday to consider diverting The Blue Hill river into the pond.
