Mrs. Margaret Burke of Stillwater, Minn., National Commander of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, arrived in Boston yesterday on an 18-day inspection tour of New England defense installations and hospital facilities for disabled veterans. Her first stop was in Marlboro, where she is shown inspecting the manufacture of shoes for the U.S. Nay at the Diamond Shoe Company. She is escorted by Mrs. Alice Macauley, State DAV Auxiliary Commander, and Al Peters, foreman.
