Police found 2/16 the body of 15-year-old Opel Dianne Buckson (C), apparently the third victim of the "Gaffney strangler," and almost immediately arrested a young white man for her murder. Jailed was Leroy Martin, a textile mill employe. Miss Buckson had been missing since 2/13, when she was kidnapped as she waited for a school bus. Mystery phone calls from the "strangler" last week led officials to the bodies of Nancy Rinehart (L) and Mrs. Nancy Parris, 20, (R).
