Pretty Nancy Bernard of Lubbock, Texas, is surrounded by some tiny bales after being named "Maid of Cotton" for 1966 1/3 in New York. Nancy, 20 years old, was chosen from among 20 finalists in the Maid of Cotton contest in Memphis 12/30 and she will represent the American cotton industry in this country and Europe.
