Miss Judy Cornelius, wearing the nylons of the Clearwater, Florida, Chamber of Commerce, shown mounted on her speedy pelican "Long Bill," after she scored a five-flap win in the Clearwater Beach Pelican Derby. Running first in a field of six, "Long Bill" with Judy up, crossed the finish line a beak ahead. Plans for a second running of the Pelican Derby are being formulated by the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce.
