The body of Norma Rennie, (above) 39-year old brunette registered nurse, was found today with two stab wounds beneath the left breast, in the bed of her one-room apartment in the Riverside Plaza Hotel in Manhattan. Police said the wounds had been inflicted at least 48 hours before the body was discovered by a maid, who reported the room had not been cleaned in two days. She entered in spite of a "Do not disturb sign." Papers indicated Miss Rennie was a second lieutenant in the Army during the Second World War. She recently had been visited by her mother, who lives in Guelph, Ontario.
