Minnesota Fishing Contest Draws Thousands -- An estimated 2,500 fishermen joined in the annual Veterans of Foreign Wars fishing contest today on Forest Lake and formed the Maltese cross insignia of VFW on the ice. A 3-pound, 7-ounce black bass caught by Michael Koch, St. Paul, Minn., took first prize of $200 in fishing equipment. This air view shows the crowd.
