Miner Camp Near Earthquake Flood Site -- This miners' camp near the Chilean town of El Cobre escaped damage today when an earthquake hit much of central Chile and broke a 230-foot-high dam. El Cobre, with between 350 and 400 inhabitants, was buried under millions of tons of water, mud and debris when the dam broke.
