Mrs. Mary Singleton, wife of Houston's latest heart transplant recipient, James Elbert Singleton, wears a big smile during news conference here after the operation 9/5. Singleton (L), a 47-year-old aircraft plant worker, is reported in satisfactory condition. Donor of the organ was Paul Craig Mason, a 17-year-old motorcyclist of Long Beach, Calif., who sustained irreparable brain damage in a vehicular accident 9/3.
