Mid-Winter Harvest - Three workers harvest 16-inch ice cakes from Lake Winnipesaukee, N. H., on 10th day of cold snap. The “ice crop” will be transported by truck to icehouse of a boy’s camp nine miles away to provide refrigeration and iced drinking water-during next summer’s heat waves.
