Miami: Hurricane Inez, spotted in this newsmap, spared populous south Florida 10/3, turning into the Bahama Islands where a hurricane-spawned tornado killed a 15-month-old child and injured several others. Packing 80 mile an hour winds, Inez was moving on a north-northeast path at a slow seven miles an hour.
