Miami: Hurricane Inez, after battering the Bahamas, charged course 10/4 and headed for southern Florida. Packing winds up to 85 miles an hour, the hurricane is moving on a west-southwesterly course at eight miles an hour. The eye should pass over most if not all of the Florida Keys as far west as Key West.
