Massachusett's first marina facility to accommodate yachts and boats on the Charles River is under construction. Being erected by the Charlesgate Yacht Club, the marine will provide tie-ups for 62 boats and will be 315 feet long. Construction of a similar marina by the Charles River Yacht Club will begin soon. The installation will eliminate rowing in small boats to anchored yanchts. It will connect with the sidewalk on the Cambridge side by a 60-foot ramp.
