The ambition of Julia Nussenbaum was to be known as the world's premier violinist. According to critics, that ambition was not beyond her reach, but death lay in wait on her road to fame. The young violinist, known professionally as Tania Leebova, was beaten to death with a claw hammer in a sound-proof rehearsal hall on New York's West 43rd St. Mischa Ross, 30-year-old booking agent and alleged admirer of the slain girl, was held for questioning at Monticello, N.Y.
