Hollywood, calif.- As their two-year-old boy slept peacefully 10 feet away, a Hollywood photographic chemist was shot by his attractive wife, Mrs. Dorene Latimer, 21, left. Dead on arrival at emergency hospital was john g. Latimer, 32. The shooting climaxed an all night bitter quarrel during which Latimer took a walk, then returned to break into the locked house and beat his auburn-haired wife. At right is John Michael Latimer, 2, who slept through the fatal shooting.
