Mary Sennott

Mrs. Mary Sennott, 22, of Putnam Gardens, Cambridge (APT-70) lost her wallet containing $50 (5 tens and some change) last night after leaving the Cambridge City Hospital where he visited her son Thomas Jr., 3, who has been suffering convulsions. The moneyb represented the first weeks pay her husband had earned in six weeks. He had been hospitilized at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Jamaica Plain for a brain tumor and a ruptured disk in his back. Thomas is employed by a Dorchester Meat Packing Plant. A second child of the couple Mary Ann, 17 mos. was discharged from the Central Hospital, Somerville, recently after a two week stay with bronchial pneumonia. Mrs. Sennott is expecting a third child in two months. Because of all the illness in the family quite a bit of medical and food bills have run up. They have as yet received no compensation from anyone. The money she lost tonight was to be used to by the weeks shopping tomorrow. They have a b it of meat and no milk for the baby in the y house and both are emotionaly upset. The boy now in the Cambridge City has been undergoing treatment for his convulsions since he was 17 months old. He has been in and out of the Cambridge City and The Boston Childrens Medical Center. Mrs. Sennott said that she lost the wallet either inside the hospital or right on the hospital grounds because as she noticed it was missing when she stepped into the street. They made a search of the area and questioned the nurses but nowhere was the wallet to be found. Mr. Sennott served in the Army for three yeare during the Korean War. He is not completely cured and only fit for light working conditions.
