Mrs. Catherine Grundy, 18, who was miss new York state in this year's miss universe contest, is shown leaving the west 20th St. station house following her arrest on a charge of dognapping a miniature French poodle puppy valued at $125. Mrs. Grundy, who models as Kay Douglas, was arraigned in felony court on a grand larceny charge on a complaint of the dog's owner, Myron Jenner. A photo equipment manufacturer. Charges of canicide were not pressed against her though the dog died.
