Top fashion and cover model Melanie Cain is featured her on cover of July, 1977, issue of Redbook magazine. But today, 8/8 she finds herself in a much different setting. She'd been living with onetime successful but controversial thoroughbred racing trainer Howard (Buddy) Jacobson in his lush apartment for the past five years but moved in with his next door neighbor, John Topper, about a week ago. Yesterday, 8/7, Jacobson was booked in connection with the murder of Topper in what police said was a love-triangle slaying.
