Mechanical Device to Replace Heart--Left photo shows the backside of a mechanical device used in an operation today to replace the total human heart. The valve on the left (left photo) ties onto the Aorta and the other ties to the Pulmonary artery. In the right hand photo which shows the frontside on the unit it shows from left to right the Right Ventricle and the Left ventricle.
