Mardi Gras Parade -- A float of the Mardi Gras parade makes its' way through crowded St. Charles Street in New Orleans yesterday. This was the Rex parade, which was followed by the Comus parade. Thousands of Carnival merrymakers lined the streets throughout downtown New Orleans. The carnival ended at midnight yesterday.
