McGreevy's 3rd Base Saloon
1903
McGreevy's Third Base Saloon decorated with patriotic bunting during the 1903 World Series between the Boston Americans and Pittsburgh Pirates. The Saloon was decorated for the triumpant return of the team and of the Boston Royal Rooters from Pittsburgh, where Boston took a lead in the first World Series. The Saloon was located at 940 Columbus Avenue in the Roxbury Crossing neighborhood. From 5" x 7" glass-plate negative.
