Karen Jacobsen (L), 23-year-old mother of four, is comforted by her mother Mrs. Noah Wallen, as Mrs. Jacobsen went on trial 10/2 for the fatal stabbing of her 29-year-old husband Lawrence. Mrs. Jacobsen was acquitted 10/3 after the victim's mother told the judge "I would have killed him myself." "He threatened to beat Karen and the children. Mrs. Jacobsen stabbed her husband with a 12-inch butcher knife after he threatened her.
